·¬ÇÑÉçÇø the Project

This regional project aims to strengthen the climate resilience, productivity and institutional capacity of 21 producer organizations across seven Pacific Island countries: Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, Samoa and Tonga. The project will directly benefit 15,000 farmers, including 50% women and 20% youth, by promoting climate-smart agriculture, economic inclusion and stronger farmer organizations.

Based on participatory Climate Vulnerability and Gender Assessments, the project will support the adoption of locally appropriate climate-resilient technologies such as agroforestry, drought-tolerant crops and water-saving systems, while integrating disaster risk reduction and water security into farming systems. It will also strengthen farmer-led enterprises through grants and business development support, expand opportunities for women and youth, deploy digital tools for market access and cooperative governance, and establish a Regional Technical Assistance Hub to enhance training, knowledge sharing, monitoring and organizational performance across the Pacific region.
