Civil Society Organizations
Civil society organizations have been instrumental in shaping GAFSP鈥檚 direction鈥攈elping to secure dedicated funding for farmers鈥� and producer organizations, guiding the inclusion of climate principles such as agroecology, and ensuring that smallholder perspectives are reflected in decision-making. Through regular regional consultations, civil society and farmer organizations bring field-level realities of agriculture, food security, and resilience into global policy and financing discussions, strengthening both the relevance and the impact of GAFSP鈥檚 work.
